Peter Riddell, UK National Coordinator for Initiatives of Change, will be co-facilitating with Ashley Muller, UK National Coordinator for Creators of Peace. Peter has, or has had, personal connections with all those portrayed in the films.
In 1993 post-apartheid South Africa, Letlapa Mphalele, a guerrilla commander, ordered a shooting in a pub in Cape Town in which a white girl, Lyndi Fourie was killed. The film ‘Beyond Forgiving’ traces her mother Ginn’s quest to meet the man responsible for her killing, and the self-discovery that both experienced as a result.
