The African Coordination Group (ACG) wishes to inform you and ask your prayers for a consultation of IofC bodies in Africa from 5 to 10 March 2014 at Bonita Youth Development Centre – Debre Zeit in Ethiopia.
The purpose of this consultation is for us as a collective body of IofC Africa to spend time in retreat to recommit ourselves to the principles we embrace and propagate in IofC; It is an opportunity to look at issues of governance and other challenges teams face and prayerfully seek solutions for each situation; How to attract and sustain new people especially the young; How we relate to IofC International; Effectiveness and relevance in our countries; time to get feedback from what is happening in each country; Issues around funding; Learnings from Workshop for Africa; Election of new officers for the ACG.
