Leon Marincowitz - an alumni of Harambee 6 - wins award

(Photo: Mbindyo Kimanthi)Leon Marincowitz, a young man from South Africa and an alumni of Harambee Africa 6 [1] in Nigeria, won an award after participating in the Raven Foundation sponsored contest on an essay that best communicates the theme of Violence and Religion. Leon wrote an essay titled 'Unravelling Nigeria's Violence!' drawing a lot from his experience in Nigeria during Harambee programme. Together with two other winners, Leon will present his paper in a Colloquium on Violence and Religion (COV&R) conference in July 2012 in Tokyo, Japan.
