Mbindyo Kimanthi

Mbindyo Kimanthi is a young and budding filmmaker from Nairobi Kenya. He graduated in June 2011 from Daystar University with a Degree in Communications (PR & Electronic Media). In summer 2011, he received training in communication and presentation, photography, filmmaking and the use of social media for change during the Creatifs Media training in Caux, Switzerland. Previously, he was part of Harambee Africa Leadership Programme 5 in Ethiopia in 2009 where together with like-minded visionaries, they developed a vision for the Africa they want to see. In October and November of 2011, he volunteered to serve as part of the Communications team and a mentor at the 6th Harambee Africa Training programme in Nigeria. He currently enjoys using his skills to tell stories. He is young, energetic and open to learning new things.
