Who we are: Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.
Purpose: We work to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs, starting with themselves, in the areas of trustbuilding, ethical leadership and sustainable living.
'Living Differently is a simple Initiatitive - short, monthly, self-guided small group sessions' that provoke, encourage and support IofC committed people on their journeys of self-transformation and team-building.

Davina Patel is Head of IofC-UK Communications and Marketing and has several years experience in journalism, public relations and marketing, specialising in the third sector. She holds a MA in International Public Relations and a degree in Journalism. Prior to joining Initiatives of Change, Davina was previously Marketing and Communications Manager for the Community Foundation for Surrey. Davina is passionate about social change and human rights.
How do we make democracy real and what makes democracy real? From the youths' perspective, how do we contribute to a Clean Election process in the nation? Initiatives of Change, Nigeria will be hosting about 35 Youth Leaders in Nigeria in an open dialogue towards engineering a clean election process in the largest black nation in Africa. Our focus is to engage these top leaders among youths in a discussion towards 'Making Democracy Real '.
Creators of Peace from 13 African countries will come together in South Africa from 16 – 23 September. They will explore how to strengthen the Creators of Peace community across the continent.
