Who we are: Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.

The visitors were welcomed at the Parliament of White Nile State with dancing by the Fellata community, who are of Nigerian Hausa origin

Purpose: We work to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs, starting with themselves, in the areas of trustbuilding, ethical leadership and sustainable living.

PATRICK ALFRED WALUCHIO ONGWEN (NAIROBI)

Patrick Waluchio has been supporting young men and women in Education. Sacrificing his comfort and that of his family, he has supported over 18 young people from his own pocket to get education. Patrick goes back to his community, picks students who are bright and cannot afford to pay school fees and he personally takes them through secondary, college and University education.

When they clear their education, Patrick uses his network of friends to get them jobs and as if that is not enough he actually rents accommodation for them before they are capable of financially supporting themselves. It takes a lot of love, selflessness and commitment from Patrick.
