You would also be working with volunteers who help with the translation. You'll receive compensation and we would be able to reimburse you for any agreed costs incurred.

The Creators of Peace (CoP) workshop Uganda took place from 20 to 22 February and was attended by 19 women from different denominations, organizations, and women holding very senior and important positions in Uganda. It started off with a word of prayer by Ms. Rose who prayed to God to use them as instruments of peace so that peace can prevail, not only in their families but also in the communities where they live.

20170427 IofC Tanzania training group

Moral Rearmament was registered in Tanzania in 1995 having been active for years prior to that. Yet for a number of years since, it has been largely quiet. On 25 - 27 April, Initiatives of Change (IofC) facilitators from Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa/UK delivered training in Dodoma, Tanzania to renew the energy and commitment of the existing IofC team and introduce IofC to new members.

IofC francophone team members in Cameroon

Twenty-eight people gathered in Yaoundé, Cameroon from 12 to 16 March 2017 for a training programme that focused on Initiatives of Change’s Francophone teams. The group consisted of Francophone African participants - six training faculty and local Cameroonian team members. The countries represented included Ivory Coast, Burundi, Rwanda, Mali, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Nigeria, South Africa, Lebanon, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (UK).

On the 4th and 5th of February, 2017 seven enthusiastic women joined to go through for the first ever intensive Creators of Peace Circle in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. At the end of the two days experience a team was created where the participants agreed first and foremost to care for each other and develop together an avenue to give back to their community in their diverse walks of their lives.

CoP workshop in Cameroon

CoP Ambassador Daphrose Ntarataze, CoP's new President Amina Dikedi-Ajakaiye, Executive Officer Kate Monkhouse and women from Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Switzerland and host country Cameroon gathered in the capital city of Yaounde for a three-day gathering that focused on the renewal of spirit and resources of the African Francophone CoP teams.
